The ZHW offers students a comprehensive and modern infrastructure and a learning environment with computer workstations and well-equipped laboratories.

Each student has the following at his/her disposal:

– a personal e-mail account
– a personal web folder
– access to the ZHW network, individual network connection in many classrooms and study halls, VPN at Home
– access to Intranet and Internet
– discounts on laptops, palmtops, etc.

All incoming students are advised to acquire a laptop. See information in right column.

All locations have cafeterias and vending machines (about the cafeterias, in German).

The ZHW also provides a wide range of sports facilities free of charge.
