Outline of the profession

Graduates of the Degree Programme in Information Technology are professionals in great demand for challenging applications in industry and services. Their areas of work include development departments, technical sales, and engineering and computing companies of all sizes.

They are responsible for planning, design, realisation and / or sales of information processing systems and components. They carry out these activities as development engineers at the cutting edge of technology, as experts in consulting or training, or as the heads of technical departments.

Modularisation
As of the winter semester 2003-2004, ZHW degree programmes will be modularised. New students will earn their university of applied sciences diplomas in accordance with the examination regulations on modularised studies.
